Work with a coach

Meet Westside Client Sinisa! So very proud of this guy! When we first met Sinisa for our consult, we learned a ton about his lifestyle, motivations, goals, and current fitness. Sinisa has a job like so many people do today which involves sitting at a desk for 8+ hours. Even more surprising , in his industry most people work 10-14 hours a day and sometimes 6 days a week, leaving very minimal time to train, eat healthy, sleep well, or have a good quality life in general.

Sinisa set a goal for himself to get healthy and make it a constant in his life moving forward. He also has some major life goals, like building his own home on the Island which he needs to be fit for. After his assessment we set some first goals and designed a program for him which included working on his core strength, eating more than 1 meal a day, training in person 2x a week, and drinking more water.

These were all accomplished. So we re-assessed in our monthly consults and added in some new goals and programming to continue to move toward his life goals. Sinsia still trains 2 x weekly in person, but has added in an online individual design program that he can do 2x a week at his home gym. We also touched more on his nutrition and lifestyle goals.

Some major wins we have seen thus far is Sinisa’s consistency in his training. His core strength has increased immensely. One of the core assessment tools we use is the side plank. When we first started over 4 months ago, he could only do 10 seconds a side from his knee. He can now hold 1:10 a side. He has less back pain. His energy levels are up and he has lost 17mm of fat at this from his SSS (Summation Scoring System). This is a score that reflects his body composition at 4 health sites: stomach, illiac (sides), midaxilla, and scapula.

Sinisa was not sure where to start or how to move toward his goals. Hiring a Coach helped him build a plan based on his goals and priorities. The assessment allowed us to ensure that every time he stepped in the gym each exercise had purpose and was progressing him forward to his ideal outcome. This not only motivated him, but has kept him focused on his goal. So very happy for Sinisa!

So happy to update this today on February 17th, 2020. Another 4 months of training and Sinisa is now able to hold a full side plank for over a minute. Plus he is both squatting and deadlifting over 200+lbs. His energy levels are up and he has no back pain. We are continuing to work on his conditioning with his 2x at home/gym online workouts. This truly has been an amazing journey for Sinisa. He has made a total lifestyle change. So very happy for him:)
